ABOUT
The retreats are hosted by Huw Wyn, and guests. This is not about setting one self (The irony) up as a teacher, but hosting an enquiry into what truly matters in this fleeting life. There are enough teachers sharing all sorts of nonsense, here the invitation is to openness and a sense of wonder into who we truly are and what this miracle of life is, right now!
Huw has spent many years, with a love for Dharma, as well as studying Buddhist psychology, Buddhist psychotherapy, Tibetan medicine with Akong Rinpoche at Samye Ling monastery in Scotland and with Amchi Tsewang Smanla, a traditional healer from Ladakh, whilst also studying native herbal medicine with Chris Hedley, along with a deep interest in shamanism.
This lead to many years travelling in India and Tibet, The Americas and Europe, meeting wonderful teachers and teachings along the way.
His main teachers in the Tibetan traditions are Akong Rinpoche, Kunzang Dechen Lingpa, James Low as well as studying with Tsoknyi rinpoche, Namkhai norbu and many more.
He is director of Into the Wild festival, Wilderlands, A rewilding vision, plus author of The Dharma Diaries, Sufi and Raven - Love songs to the wild.
And all these are simply conceptual elaborations!±
